Two men admit pharmacy burglary in Sandown |

Two men have admitted burgling the Boots Pharmacy on Sandown High Street on Sunday 25 January. At around 3:58am on Sunday (25 January) we were notified that an alarm had been triggered at Boots Pharmacy, High Street, Sandown. On attendance officers discovered a window had been smashed and prescription medication had been taken, as well as a till from the premises. Reece James Chilcott, aged 34, of Westridge Road in Southampton and Billy Brian Chilcott, aged 31, of Culver Parade in Sandown were subsequently charged and pled guilty to burglary at Newport Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Tuesday 27 January). Billy Brian Chilcott was remanded to appear at the same court for sentencing on Friday 6 February. Reece James Chilcott was remanded to appeal at Isle of Wight Crown Court for sentencing on Friday 27 February. | ||
